2010 Camp Dates

Beginner Session:        July 6 - 8   $200
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM


Advanced Session:       July 27 - 30       $250

2:00 PM - 6:00 PM with one overnight session

Henderson Horse Camp is a fun-filled day camp for children ages 6-15, who are horse crazy just like us!  We provide a safe environment for children to discover the world of horses and meet other future equestrians who are just as eager to learn about riding as they are.

Each day children will learn about grooming, caring for, and riding horses, as well as participate in other fun, horse-related activies such as arts and crafts, games and story time. 

The camp is run by Cortney Shipley, the Henderson Equestrian Complex Horse Trainer, who has earned a degree in Equine Management and Training from the University of Salem International, as well as Joelene Henderson, who has earned a degree in Education at Duquesne University. 

So come join the fun!
