Fourth Annual Brent Henderson Memorial Open Horse Show

Come join us for a day of fun at the Fourth Annual Open Horse Show in memory of Brent Henderson, who passed away in February, 2006 from Diabetes and Heart Disease.  This year, a portion of our proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation through the Brent Henderson Walk Team in the Walk to Cure Diabetes.  Brent Henderson was the owner and operator of Henderson Equestrian Complex.  He established his business in 1975.  Brent was a horse whisperer in the eyes of many, and is truly missed by his family as well as many in the equine industry.  By continuing his legacy, the Brent Henderson Memorial Open Horse Show is a day full of fun classes for beginners through advanced-level riders.  It is a great day to promote community, family, and the love of horses for people of all ages. Brent was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was 8 years old, and he passed away at the age of 48.  Sunday, July 19, will be a day to build awareness of Diabetes in an effort to find a cure, as that is something for which Brent hoped and prayed.
